[b][i]After almost fifteen years of warfare, the Galactic Terran Alliance is exhausted. A period of relative peace has finally come to the galaxy, at the expense of Earth and countless lives. The Alliance rose to power with promises of prosperity and security. Now, its citizens ask when they're going to deliver. In a tumultuous galaxy with no obvious right answers, who gets to define humanity?[/i][/b] [hr] Set between Freespace 1 and 2, Between the Ashes features two full-length campaigns, each with their own two-mission prologue, all fully voice acted. The story is nuanced and spans years, and only one thing is certain - by the end, nothing will be the same.
